The “Big Five” are the five global giants of recorded music. The Big Five includes BMG Music, Sony Music Entertainment Inc., EMI, Warner Music Group, and Atlantic Music Groups. Sony and BMG, after an attempted merger, hold a half of the share of the music market today.
