Looking for a music business manager? Music business managers, also referred to as personal managers, are responsible for the management of recording artist financial affairs. Additionally, music business managers may act on behalf of an artist with regard to contractual agreements; record labels, touring businesses and vendor liaison as well.
Music business managers are often involved directly or indirectly with marketing, public relations and sales. Additionally, music business managers may perform other field-specific duties including data processing, analysis, research, finance, accounting, and auditing; budgeting and other personalized services to meet the needs of various artists.
In addition to above duties, music business managers may act as talent or booking agents who arrange live performances for artists, and music business managers may also act as official representative to bands, ensembles, orchestras and other musicians.
