A little tidbit about Fusion Music...

Seeking fusion music? Fusion music, a shortened name for 'World Fusion Music,' is "...music that combines ideas from many of the earth's traditions." (1) Typically, recording artists combine different cultural traditions from around the globe to produce fusion music.

Setting the trend, and coining the phrase, "world fusion music", the fusion music band "Ancient Future" has been a long-standing contributor to the genre since 1978. Talented fusion music, recording artist Emam is not only a renowned fusion music artist, but also founded independent recording label, "Eternal Music", to help promote other fusion music artists.

Whether you prefer Celtic or Classical; New Age or Latin; Jazz or Native American; Japanese koto or Shakuhachi music; Chinese Zheng or Erhu music; Calypso or Indian ragas - then world fusion music is the genre of choice. Because fusion music is a collage of musical traditions combined to create eclectic melody and rhythm, the sky is the limit on the broad selection of ethnic and conventional instruments -- where it will lead, and how magical it will be.
