A little tidbit about Instrumental Music... Seeking instrumental music? Historically, instrumental music can be traced back to the Baroque Age when instrumental music composers Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel made their instrumental music masterworks. From that time, instrumental music brought about major symphonies including the infamous "Midsummer's Night Dream." As the name implies, instrumental music is music without lyrics or vocal accompaniment. Instrumental music is created through a broad range of instruments including but not limited to brass, strings, and other instruments. Sometimes producing ambient sounds, instrumental music can be quite relaxing and enjoyable. Modern composers create instrumental music that is often included on movie soundtracks and television shows. But one of history's more famous instrumental music composers was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; who wrote and played several instrumental music masterpieces during his lifetime. Today, instrumental music does not always apply just to symphony orchestras and sonatas, as in this time and age instrumental music is heavily compiled in modern MIDI and electronic format as well. Current instrumental music recording artists include Paul Winter, who was recently nominated for a Grammy Award for his album titled, "Canyon Lullaby." Eugene Friesen, another recording artist, has won several Grammies for multiple instrumental albums as well.
