Ezines are electronic magazines or publications that may be distributed through an email newsletter or Website. Ezines are usually relevant to website or practice content; and may be published on a weekly or monthly basis in electronic format. 

According to Wikipedia, one of the first Ezines was published by cDc (Cult of the Dead Cow) which began publishing their underground ezine during the 1980s. 

Typically, ezines cover most every topic from animal health to comedy; from destruction derbies to music management; and everything under the scope of the Internet and beyond.Some ezines are specifically created by and for web designers; while other ezines may focus primarily on culture, design, fashion, and other human interest stories.
