Musical Composers

Looking for musical composers? Musical composers are individuals who write music. Because they write in musical notation format, musical composers permit other artists to perform written compositions.

Subsequently, the term musical composer is interchanged with the word ‘songwriter,’ as songwriters are associated with folk or pop music, and musical composers are likened to classical music.

Past classical musical composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven, are not only famous for their mesmerizing works, but are still highly regarded for their exquisite contributions to the field of musical compositions.

In the last century, renowned musical composer, Henry Mancini is remembered by his broad contributions to the field of music writing. In addition to his musical composition, ‘Moon River,’ Mancini is known for other music themes including ‘The Pink Panther’ and the theme song for ‘Newhart’ in 1982. Additionally, Herby Hancock, famous jazz pianist and musical composer, held his first concert when he was just eleven years old.

Other musical composers (songwriters) include singer/songwriters Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Frank Zappa, John Denver and Bob Dylan, to name a few of many.
